Southeastern Medical International, Inc is a non-profit 501c3, nondenominational and nonpolitical organization dedicated to medical assistance to hurting people worldwide, so that none may perish.
SMI was established to:

Provide educational conferences for medical personnel and their families. The purpose of these conferences is for continual medical education courses, disaster relief training, marriage enrichment, cultural sensitivity training, and to teach the concept of whole person medicine (body, mind, and spirit).

Provide short term trips for medical personnel. We will help people in distress anywhere in the world regardless of nationality, race, religion and economic status. Medicine is a wonderful way to bridge the political, religious, and socioeconomic problems many people face worldwide.

Make available volunteer health care professionals to countries requiring medical assistance on an urgent basis. We will also seek to assist other charitable organizations doing medical relief work worldwide.

Develop a growing and cooperative relationship with other Medical and Mission Agencies. Handle all logistical concerns for the volunteer health care professionals. This will enable them to focus on what they do best: health care.

Train and develop global disaster relief teams.

Train and equip fast response medical teams and make them available to people in need worldwide within hours of natural disasters and other emergencies. We will use free medical care to meet the needs of people in other countries. We aim to assist healing for those in crisis situations resulting from natural disasters, epidemics, economical crisis, and civil conflicts.
